Meet the faces behind Garringer Painting!
Adam, spent 13 years working as a pastor, however, a few years ago he stepped down from his pastoral role and began a career in painting. When he first went into the new career path, he didn’t realize how much he would love it. He initially received his training as a commercial estimator. He travelled every where from Alabama up to Michigan to build estimates on shopping centers, medical facilities, massive industrial building and everything in between. Eventually that lead into a little bit of sales and project management as well. He then received an opportunity to become Dayton Territory Manager through another company. Since changing roles he has had the opportunity to learn the residential side of the industry. He’s gotten to not only refine his skills in sales and project management, but also to learn the business side of painting. After working for and learning from two great companies, he decided it was time to start our very own, Garringer Painting!
Adam is partnered on this venture with his wife, Courtney. Courtney has owned a small business in sales for the past 7 years, allowing her to stay home with our boys. Additionally, she has years of experience in leading teams, marketing, one-on-one training and office management. Her absolute favorite role is being a mom to two sweet and crazy boys! They are a huge reason we became entrepreneurs!
We believe God has provided us with the experience and tools needed to come together and care for the families and businesses in our area! It is our mission to not only perform honest and high quality painting for residential and commercial spaces but to also help improve lives through our service and the relationships we build!

We worked with Adam in October 2024 to get our house exterior painted as well as our deck. We got a number of quotes for our painting project, and we chose Garringer Painting because we felt confident in their level of experience and skill. Their prices were also competitive. Adam was great at communicating with us, from setting up the meeting to get a quote, to following up after all the work was done. We always knew when to expect the painting crew to arrive, and when he was coming out to do a site visit. His crew was professional and efficient. In addition to painting, the crew was able to complete needed repairs of our EIFS exterior as well as our soffits. They were also able to add trim around our window and doors, and repair missing and damaged caulking. We love the results on our home because it looks great, and because we know the job was done right. We highly recommend Garringer Painting.

We hired Adam and his crew to paint multiple bedrooms, a hallway and entry way and to remove wallpaper in the living room, kitchen, dining room and stairwell and then to paint those rooms. Once we booked, they were quick to schedule a time to complete the job. His crew took great care of our furniture and house, covered everything with plastics and cleaned up each night before they left. They worked quickly and did a very nice job painting and removing the wallpaper. The crew was sure to ask if there was anything we wanted them to fix and the few, small spots that we found were fixed quickly and to our satisfaction. Adam the owner did a fantastic job evaluating our situation which was difficult due to neglect, gave a few options and we went with his best recommendation. All along the way he communicated extremely well with phone calls and text messages even including pictures of the progress. In addition, we had to deal with the storms due to the aftermath of Helene. Again, he stayed on it and didn’t try to rush it just to get done.
